A sweet child's dress from the Victorian years of the 1880s. The burgundy dress, in a cotton linen fabric, is trimmed in a complimenting plaid wool fabric. The use of the plaid trim to form a deep "v" on the front of the bodice is exceptionally nice.

Here you will find a sweet child's homespun dress bodice from the late Victorian - early 1900's. The bodice, I am sure, was part of a dress with the skirt removed at some time. Embellished with Pa. chicken scratch embroidery on the sleeves and down the front of dress.

I am so pleased to offer this extraordinary 1890's Christening gown which has been stored away for many years. It is the first time it has been offered for sale. It is a beautiful traditional gown made of whitework /Swiss embroidery and series of tucks, all making this dress a dynamic statement.
